Churches & Religious Organizations

Painting for churches and religious organizations

A church building is used all week: worship services, classes, weddings, funerals, youth programs and community events. Top Coat schedules painting around your calendar so the work never gets in the way of your ministry.

What we paint

  • Sanctuaries and worship spaces, including high ceilings and walls
  • Fellowship halls, kitchens and gathering spaces
  • Classrooms, nurseries and children’s areas
  • Offices, hallways and restrooms
  • Exteriors, steeples, trim, doors and entry areas

Scheduled around your calendar

We start by getting your calendar: services, regular programs, and any weddings, funerals or special events already booked. The work is phased so the sanctuary and key spaces are ready when you need them, with weekday and evening work where it helps.

Care for the building

Many church buildings have woodwork, stained glass, pews and finishes that can’t be replaced. We protect them before we start and clean up at the end of each day. For high sanctuary ceilings, we plan the access equipment and floor protection in advance.

Working with building committees

Decisions often go through a committee or board. We provide an itemized proposal that’s easy to present, color and finish options to review, and a schedule that shows when each space will be out of use.

Children’s areas

In nurseries and classrooms, we use low-odor, low-VOC products and scrubbable finishes that stand up to cleaning.
