Utilities & Public Facilities

Painting for utilities and public facilities

Utility offices, operations buildings and public facilities serve the public every day. They can’t close for a repaint, and they come with procurement rules, safety programs and documentation requirements. Top Coat is set up for all of it.

  • BBB Accredited

What we paint

  • Customer service offices and lobbies
  • Operations centers, warehouses and maintenance buildings
  • Municipal buildings, community centers and libraries
  • Exterior envelopes, metal buildings and trim
  • Floors, handrails and steel that need protective coatings

Open for business while we work

We phase work by area so customer-facing spaces stay open. After-hours and weekend schedules keep lobbies and service counters available during business hours. Work zones are marked, kept clean, and handed back at the end of each phase.

Safety and site rules

Utility and public sites have their own safety programs. We review your site rules, check-in procedures and restricted areas during preconstruction, and we follow your program on site.

Procurement and documentation

  • SBA-certified SDVOSB, Tennessee license #86478 (BC-11, BC-14, BC-23)
  • Itemized proposals built on PCA production rates
  • Certificates of insurance and vendor registration on request
  • Product data, daily reports with photos, and a documented closeout

Protective coatings and prep

For metal buildings, floors, railings and steel, we use high-performance systems and prepare the surface to the manufacturer’s requirements, including abrasive blasting when the system calls for it.
